GE Appliances introduced the first and only Spanish-language washer in the U.S., aiming to serve the 42 million people who speak Spanish at home.

Made in Louisville, Ky., at the company’s Appliance Park headquarters, the washer’s Spanish-language control panel and customized features were designed with input from U.S. Hispanic consumers, expert laundry engineers and employees from the company’s Latin Roots employee resource group.

This innovative product represents a significant step in inclusive design, which is key to GE Appliances’ zero-distance philosophy of delivering products and experiences that resonate with consumers.
