For the second time in his career, GE Appliances’ Chief Financial Officer Marc Charnas has been honored by Louisville Business First with its “Best in Finance” award. Marc received the award for his work in helping GEA navigate through unpredictable times brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“During the past 15 months, Marc and his team have worked tirelessly to ensure that GEA remained on strong financial footing while navigating supply chain and market challenges,” said Kevin Nolan, President & CEO of GE Appliances. “Marc’s ability to anticipate, develop and execute complex strategy enhanced our business performance. While he is always focused on helping us find a better way at GEA, he’s also committed to community service.”

Anyone that knows Marc knows that his commitment to volunteering and enhancing educational opportunities for traditionally underserved students is deeply personal, and during the company’s COVID-19 response, he’s helped ensure that GEA could continue investing in building stronger communities through its Corporate Citizenship initiatives.
