The Café brand is expanding its partnership with Wine, Women & Shoes to include five new cities in key growth markets for the brand: Boise, Chicago, Omaha, Phoenix and Tampa.
For several years, Café has been a presenting sponsor for the Louisville Wine, Women & Shoes event, which benefits Family Scholar House. Family Scholar House has a significant history with GE Appliances, a Haier co., and it empowers single mothers who are seeking to complete their college degrees.
Family Scholar House provides childcare, educational supports, housing, and job placement services.
“Wine, Women and Shoes was a perfect fit for our Café brand, and we had so much success with the event locally, we decided to expand the partnership for national reach,” said Courtnay Greenberg, senior manager of Café brand development. “The women who attend this event are all potential Café owners, and this partnership allows us to increase our brand awareness while aligning with key local retail partners in each of these markets to strengthen relationships and provide products to help raise money for different non-profits in each community.”
Boise, ID – May 27
The event benefits Idaho Youth Ranch, which provides accessible programs and services for at-risk teens that nurture hope, healing and resilience. The local retail partner is Jim’s Appliances.
Chicago NW Suburbs – June 25
The event benefits Bridge Communities, which serves homeless families in DuPage County with mentoring, housing and supportive services. The local retail partner is ABT.
Omaha, NE – August 6
The event benefits Children’s Hospital & Medical Center’s Carolyn Scott Rainbow House, which works to improve the life of every child through dedication to exceptional clinical care, research, education and advocacy. The local retail partner is Nebraska Furniture Mart.
Phoenix – Sept. 18
The event benefits Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, which provides education, resources and support for women to positively transform their lives and strengthen the community. The retail partner is Ferguson Corporate.
Tampa – Fall 2021 (TBD)
The event benefits Children’s Cancer Center, which is dedicated to serving children and their families who are battling cancer or chronic blood disorders with the emotional, financial, and educational supports necessary to cope with their life-threatening illnesses.
“This sponsorship is exciting because it really fits with the Café brand’s ongoing purpose work and aligns with our corporate giving priorities that are focused on equity, inclusion and education,” said Allison Martin, senior director of corporate citizenship & digital communications. “We know now more than ever, our owners are socially conscious and want to know they’re doing business with and making purchase from a company and brand that they trust.”
Prizes at the events range from a suite of Café kitchen appliances to a wine refrigerator or suite of Café small appliances.
