As the only appliance manufacturer on this year's list, GE Appliances continues to invest in the people building the future of American manufacturing.

GE Appliances has been named one of the 2026 Fortune Best Workplaces in Manufacturing & Production™, standing as the only home appliance manufacturer recognized on this year's list. The recognition is based largely on confidential feedback from employees about their workplace experience.

The honor comes during a period of significant investment in American manufacturing at GE Appliances. The company has committed $6.5 billion to U.S. manufacturing since 2016, investing in new products, advanced technology, modernized factories and American jobs.

GE Appliances employs approximately 15,500 people across the U.S. and works with more than 6,500 U.S. suppliers across all 50 states.

At the center of that investment are the people who design, engineer and build appliances in America. GE Appliances manufactures refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, ovens, washers, dryers, air conditioners and water heaters in U.S. facilities, with major manufacturing operations across several states.

Its Appliance Park headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, is being transformed into the largest home appliance manufacturing site in the United States.

Being recognized as one of the best places to work in U.S. manufacturing reinforces a simple idea behind Built for America: investing in American manufacturing also means investing in the people who make it possible.
