GE Appliances, a Haier company, has been named to the Top 100 List for best intern programs across the country.

Started by WayUp in 2017, National Intern Day has become a celebrated opportunity for employers across the United States as they thank their intern and co-op participants. Yello and WayUp take the day to announce the Top 100 Internship Program list each year, which showcases the best of the best intern programs across the country. 

Over 500 companies were nominated this year and GE Appliances, a Haier company was on the list for 2024. The list is determined by a panel of experts plus public votes for their dedication to shaping the future leaders of businesses: interns!

Along with making the Top 100 list, GE Appliances was also recognized with the DEI Champion Award, 1 of just 5 coveted awards given out annually. The company received the DEI Champion Award for its commitment to growing a diverse workforce, including interns and co-ops in ERGs, and recognizing that products are built on the unique perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds that employees bring to the table.

WayUp and Yello also noted that GE Appliances' co-op committees uniquely make the company's program stand out from others.
