For the fourth year in a row, GE Appliances is ranked in the top 20 of the annual Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America, has earned the number two spot as Healthiest Employer in Kentucky in 2021, and received a Platinum Award from the Worksite Wellness Council of Louisville.

For the third consecutive year, the business also earned a Gold rating from the American Heart Association.

The Healthiest Employer Awards, sponsored by health analytics group Springbuk, are based on six key categories:

Healthiest Employer of Kentucky submissions are automatically entered for the Top 100 Healthiest Employers of America, a national pool of applicants from all regions, size categories, and industries. 

GEA ranked 19th nationally and second in Kentucky and has ranked in the top five year-over-year.

GEA earned a Gold designation from the American Heart Association’s Workplace Health Achievement Index, which measures an organization’s investment in health along with the comprehensiveness of its employee wellbeing programs.

The Worksite Wellness Council of Louisville also recognized GEA with a Platinum Award for 2021, honoring local employers who show initiative and innovation in health and wellbeing.
