Reshoring Initiative President Harry Moser spotlights GE Appliances’ sustained U.S. investment and supplier impact during a House Small Business Committee hearing.

During a recent hearing of the House Small Business Committee, Harry Moser, president of the Reshoring Initiative, recognized GE Appliances, headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, as a leading example of how long-term U.S. manufacturing investment strengthens small businesses, local suppliers, and the broader American supply chain.

Moser highlighted the company’s extensive domestic commitments and the national economic impact of its onshoring strategy.

In his testimony, Moser cited GE Appliances’ $6.5 billion in U.S. manufacturing investments since 2016, the creation of thousands of American jobs, and partnerships with more than 6,500 U.S. suppliers—many of them small, locally owned businesses.

He emphasized that GE Appliances’ reshoring efforts reinforce supply chain resilience and build stronger communities across the country. Watch the clip below.
