Kevin Nolan named to Thinkers50 Leaders50
Sep 14th 2026

GE Appliances President and CEO recognized among 50 exceptional leaders from around the world.
GE Appliances President and CEO Kevin Nolan has been named to the 2026 Thinkers50 Leaders50, joining a global group of business trailblazers that includes Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang, General Motors’ Mary Barra, and many other leaders making an impact across industries.
The biennial Leaders50 is different from a typical business ranking. Its nominations come from the management thinkers, scholars and authors who study leadership and help shape how it is practiced around the world. Leaders are considered for their organizational impact, economic contribution, leadership style, development of others and long-term vision.
Those are qualities that have helped define Kevin’s leadership at GE Appliances.
A career engineer and passionate maker, Kevin has spent more than 35 years with GE and GE Appliances. He conceived and co-founded FirstBuild, our open co-creation community and microfactory, and later brought that same spirit of making and collaboration to CoCREATE in his hometown of Stamford, Connecticut.
At GE Appliances, he has helped lead a transformation built around moving faster, empowering teams, staying closer to consumers and always looking for a better way. That transformation has also included historic investment in American manufacturing, with more than $6.5 billion committed to our U.S. operations in the last decade alone.

The Leaders50 recognition puts Kevin alongside leaders from some of the world’s best-known companies while celebrating something we know well at GE Appliances: meaningful transformation starts with people willing to challenge convention and turn ideas into action.
Kevin and the other members of the 2026 Leaders50 will be recognized at the Thinkers50 London Summit later this year.
