GE Appliances (GEA), a Haier co., is now hiring for SummerWorks, continuing its longtime partnership with the program that helps provide youth with summer jobs.
All Louisville youth between the ages of 17 and 21 (as of June 1) are eligible to apply for a position with GEA in the SummerWorks program. Through the program, led by YouthBuild Louisville in partnership with KentuckianaWorks, participants earn money while learning important skills that will prepare them for future careers—potentially with GEA. In fact, for years, SummerWorks has been a valuable avenue for the company when it comes to recruiting motivated, energetic young people who help bring fresh thinking to GEA's manufacturing operations.
The application window for SummerWorks is now open through May 26, and GEA is looking for hardworking, talented youth. If you know someone interested in working at Appliance Park this summer, encourage them to apply!
To register, candidates should visit the SummerWorks website here. Once registered, candidates need to apply to the GEA SummerWorks job posting listed on the website or at careers.geappliances.com/job/REQ-8003.
